Workflow can create virtually any communication between internal and external contacts Tasks and email notifications can be generated automatically as the result of certain transactions occurring, as well as booking appointments based on skill sets, geography and other attributes of a call. The module works with the process definitions, activity types and next actions built into Powertrak right out of the box. So, the plans can create to do's and send email notifications at the same time. For example, even in multi-channel sales situations, leads can be emailed to external partners and queued up for internal follow-up in a marketing department task list. Your staff saves time with one place to set up and maintain process and workflow plans.


Based on rules-driven changes in any core object and the occurrence (or non-occurrence) of events Workflow plans can be immediately triggered or they can run on timing schedules. With a built-in interface to build the triggers and a parameter-driven interface for rules and workflow objects, administrators can provide discrete control over what events fire the plans. When a marketing response is entered or scraped off of your w website, the system can create and allocate a sales follow-up task on the spot. When support incidents aren't handled quickly enough, they can be escalated or service personnel can be reminded to check on them.

Built-in web-based Administration and Plan Builder makes it easy to set up and runAdministrative users can build and manipulate Workflow plans through the Worldtrak web administration module. Multiple events can trigger the same plan. Workflow plans run under an






NT/Windows 2000 service. So, you can also run them at preset times under SQL Agent and other task managers. Runtime logs monitor progress and results so that administrators can verify progress and spot exception items.


Sales Programs, Cases and related tasks can be created automatically when the status changes the plans run across any business process defined in the Powertrak data store or virtually any other data item. You can even use workflow to interact with data sources outside of Powertrak such as web leads sitting on other servers or outside of firewalls. With Powertrak Workflow, these items can be pulled in, queued up and allocated to the right people.


Programmable Rules, Filters, Lookups and Communications provide power and flexibility When the standard workflow templates don't quite fit, administrators can copy and modify the workflow object to meet your requirements. Because the templates include useful tools like geography lookup tables and routing rules, most changes can be handled through simply modifying table parameters. For advanced users, the plans include an interface to modify the actual object logic.

With Active Workflow running, your end-users don't have to kick off the process or take some manual action in the system to complete necessary tasks. Active Workflow provides robust functionality, automatic efficient real-time and batch operation, and reduced training costs. Workflow comes with a web administration interface, detained control/object documentation, a series of templates and server-side service installation
